Hasan Bahcivan

Hasan is presently studying some theoretical and experimental results on space plasma waves and instabilities. The scattering mechanisms and dynamics underlying polar mesospheric summer echoes is being investigated using radar observations in Alaska. Construction of a novel system for remote sensing of the upper atmosphere based on commercial radio broadcast signals is under consideration. This system would allow us to do a continuous and long-term radar observation of these echoes and achieve a better understanding of the dynamics of the mesospheric region. In addition, he is a TA for 'Electromagnetic Waves and Communications' in the Spring 2002.

Rudy Cuevas

Rudy is working on digital receivers and is a TA for ECE488.
